Registration Opens for 2021 Annual Meeting & October MPC Meeting

Registration for the October 26 and 27 Annual Meeting and the October 25 MPC meeting is now live. You can register for both meetings, which will be held online using Zoom videoconferencing software, on the Annual Meeting website in the Registration section.

NOLHGA’s 2021 Annual Meeting will feature panel presentations on the health insurance market, the life and annuity industry, emerging issues in long-term care insurance, and post-pandemic investment strategies. The meeting will also feature a special presentation on the health insurance industry by noted expert James Capretta, Senior Fellow & Milton Friedman Chair at the American Enterprise Institute. Preliminary agendas for the Annual Meeting and MPC meeting can be found on the meeting website.

Registration for both meetings is free. If you already registered for the in-person Annual Meeting or MPC meeting, you will need to register again now that the meetings have been moved online. We apologize for the inconvenience. You will also need to register separately for each day of the Annual Meeting. Please note that most of the program for Day Two of the Annual Meeting (October 27) consists of closed-session receivership task force reports, and attendance is limited to affected guaranty associations. In addition, attendance at the GABC and LTC Re Annual Meetings on October 25 is limited to members of each organization.

Once you register for the Annual Meeting and/or the MPC meeting, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes a link near the bottom of the message that allows you to add the meeting to your Outlook calendar. Please do not forward this link—attendees must register individually for each meeting.

If you have any questions about the Annual Meeting or MPC meeting, please contact Sean McKenna at [email protected].
