An e-mail memorandum was sent to affected guaranty associations by Paul Peterson highlighting the by-state and by-line-of-business breakdown.

The opt-out deadline for participation in the assumption reinsurance transaction with Philadelphia American Life Insurance Company expires October 25. Guaranty association funding is due November 1, with the initial closing scheduled to occur on November 8. As a reminder, guaranty associations are asked to submit a completed participation certificate to confirm their participation in the transaction with Philadelphia American.
