Centennial Life (KS)
Working Group Meeting
The NOLHGA working group met in Chicago Sept. 27-28. The Centennial Receiver provided an update on the liquidation proceedings and the estate's financial position. The Receiver expects to make an early access distribution for GA and NOLHGA administrative expenses before year-end 1999.
Disability Management Alternatives, the TPA administering the Centennial LTD block, presented the results of their file cleanup, and made a number of recommendations. Copies of the report will be sent to the task force, and the results will be summarized at the October MPC meeting.
On September 28, the working group developed plans for responding to DMA's recommendations regarding the LTD block, reviewed progress on disposition of the Centennial Other Block, and discussed several other issues. A more extended report will be presented at the October MPC meeting.
