Preliminary Agenda for Legal Seminar Posted

A preliminary agenda for NOLHGA’s 27th Legal Seminar, which will held on July 11–12, 2019, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston’s historic Back Bay, has been posted on the Seminar website. The preliminary agenda includes panel topics and confirmed speakers, and more information will be added to the agenda as it becomes available.

Attendees can register for the Seminar and the July 10 MPC meeting on the Seminar website. The Legal Seminar registration fee is $950, but NOLHGA is offering a $55 early bird discount for those who register by June 7. There is no registration fee for the MPC meeting.

NOLHGA has secured a room rate for this meeting of $279/night (one queen bed) or $309/night (two double beds or one king bed) plus tax. Perron Honored by Louisiana Senate

On May 13, 2019, the Louisiana Senate passed SR116, a resolution honoring Phyllis Perron, Executive Director of the Louisiana Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association. Perron, who has served as Executive Director for almost 30 years, recently announced that she will be retiring at the end of 2019.
