Task Force Formed for Time Insurance Company

On May 18, 2020, Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Mark Afable filed a petition with the Circuit Court of Dane County, Wisconsin, requesting an order to place Time Insurance Company—a life, health, annuity, and LTC carrier that had been in runoff since late 2014—into rehabilitation. Mark Femal (Strohm Ballweg) has been proposed as the Special Deputy Commissioner for Rehabilitation.

MPC Chair Tom Sullivan (Iowa), in consultation with NOLHGA President Peter Gallanis, has appointed a task force for Time Insurance Company. The task force will be chaired by Jack Falkenbach (Delaware) and will include Bill Fisher (Massachusetts); Frank Knighton (Georgia); Lori Nestor (Arizona); Allan Patek (Wisconsin); Tad Rhodes (Colorado); and Felix Schirripa (New Jersey).
