ACLI President to Speak at Legal Seminar

Former Oklahoma Governor and ACLI President and CEO Frank Keating will speak at NOLHGA's 14th Annual Legal Seminar. Gov. Keating, who took up the helm as president and CEO of the ACLI in 2003 after completing his second term as governor, will discuss the ACLI's national agenda, including initiatives in Washington, D.C.

NOLHGA's 14th Annual Legal Seminar will be held on August 3 and 4, 2006, at The Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Md. An MPC meeting will be held in conjunction with the seminar on August 1 and 2. Preliminary information for both meetings is available on the joint meeting Web page.

Final Distribution Checks Issued

NOLHGA issued final estate distribution checks to guaranty associations during the week of May 14, 2006. The final estate distribution amounted to slightly over $37 million. Ultimate recoveries in this case were 100% of approved administrative expenses and 97% of policy-level claims.
