New Judge in Artemis Case Issues Scheduling Order

On May 9, 2012, Judge Klausner of the United States District Court, Central District of California, ordered a "Trial Setting Conference" to take place on May 29, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. Judge Klausner, who was recently assigned to the Artemis case in place of Judge Matz, also vacated all previous procedural orders and evidentiary rulings on procedural orders having to do with the upcoming trial.

In advance of the May 29 conference, the order also directs the parties to file a Joint Statement by May 22 summarizing the case and identifying the remaining parties, the remaining issues, and any impediments to resolution of those issues.

The parties must also file a Joint Notice of Evidentiary Ruling by May 22 outlining in chart form a list of evidentiary motions made together with the relief sought, the court's decision, and the docket entry number for each.
