April 2020 MPC Meeting Changing from In-Person to Virtual Format

NOLHGA’s April 2020 MPC meeting, which was to be held at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Virginia, on April 15–16, has been canceled due to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus. A series of conference calls will be held to discuss the issues that would have been addressed at the meeting, and we will be distributing a schedule and dial-in information as soon as they are available.

Pennsylvania GA Names New Executive Director

The Pennsylvania Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association has named Nancy Margolis as its new Executive Director. Margolis replaces Joe Horvath, who served as Chairman of the association’s Board of Directors from 1987 through 1996 and as its Executive Director from 1996 through March 2020. He also served as Chair of the NOLHGA Board of Directors from 1992–1993.
