Hotel Deadline for April MPC Meeting Approaches
The deadline to make reservations at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, host hotel for NOLHGA’s April MPC meeting, is March 20. After that date, we can no longer guarantee the special NOLHGA rate of $225/night (city view) or $245/night (river view) plus tax. If you have not made your reservations or have yet to register for the meeting, which will be held April 19–20, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
Hotel reservations and meeting registration can be made through the meeting website. A preliminary meeting schedule will be posted next week, but we expect meetings to run all day on April 19 and to conclude by noon on April 20.

The Board of Managers of Quad Assoc, LLC (which manages the Indiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association, Indiana Insurance Guaranty Association, Indiana Basic Property Insurance Underwriting Association, and Indiana Automobile Insurance Plan), has announced that Amanda Barbera will be joining the organization effective April 16, 2018. Ms. Barbera, who currently serves as General Manager of the Oklahoma Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association, will be working with the incumbent Quad Assoc, LLC President and the Executive Director of the Indiana Insurance Guaranty Association and Indiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association through September 30, 2018, at which time Ms. Barbera will assume the positions of President of Quad Assoc, LLC, and Executive Director of the Indiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association and Indiana Insurance Guaranty Association.
Ms. Barbera has been with the Oklahoma Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association since 1988, serving since 2015 as its General Manager. Her undergraduate degree is from Indiana University; she has a Masters, Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management, both from Oklahoma State University. She has extensive experience in information systems and technology as well as claims adjudication.
