Liquidation Order Entered

On February 26, 2009, the Circuit Court for Marion County, Indiana, entered an order for liquidation with a finding of insolvency with respect to Medical Savings Insurance Company, an Indiana-domiciled insurer that wrote primarily high-deductible health insurance business. The court also approved the receiver’s recommendations concerning liquidation procedures and ordered a stay and injunction of all collection actions, efforts, and activities against Medical Savings’s insureds for a period of six months following entry of the order.
