Truman’s Grandson to Speak at NOLHGA’s Legal Seminar

Clifton Truman Daniel has agreed to join NOLHGA as the featured luncheon speaker at its 24th Legal Seminar to discuss “Life in the White House.” Daniel is the eldest grandson of President Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess. He is the son of author Margaret Truman and former New York Times Managing Editor E. Clifton Daniel Jr. As an author, Daniel’s publications include Growing Up with My Grandfather: Memories of Harry S. Truman and Dear Harry, Love Bess: Bess Truman’s Letters to Harry Truman, 1919–1943. He is currently working on two books about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The 2016 Legal Seminar will be held on July 21–22 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., with an MPC meeting scheduled for July 20.
