London Pacific Life & Annuity Company (N.C.)
Proof of Claim Update
Guaranty associations may have recently received a Notice of Liquidation and Claim Filing Deadline from the London Pacific liquidator. The notice indicates that a completed proof of claim form must be filed no later than June 30, 2006, and that information regarding the status of the London Pacific liquidation can be found at www.RADTRUST.com. Guaranty associations do not need to file separate proof of claim forms, as the liquidator has agreed that NOLHGA may file an omnibus proof of claim on their behalf. In addition, the guaranty associations need only submit their expense claims, as the liquidator already has the data for policy-level claims via Exhibit D to the Exchange Agreement with Hartford Life. NOLHGA is currently in the process of collecting expense information for guaranty associations and anticipates sending this information to the liquidator in the near future.
