Final Week to Register for 2021 Legal Seminar

There’s only one week left to register for NOLHGA’s 2021 Legal Seminar. This year’s Seminar will feature an outstanding panel of speakers, in-depth discussions of the key issues facing the insurance industry and guaranty system, and hours of CLE credit (including ethics). Highlights of the 2021 Seminar will include:

• A discussion on economic equality and inclusion in the insurance and financial services sector with George Nichols III (President & CEO of The American College of Financial Services) and Karen Petrou (Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Federal Financial Analytics and the author of Engine of Inequality: The Fed and the Future of Wealth in America)
  
• An impressive array of insurance regulators, including FIO Director Steven Seitz, CMS's Jeff Wu, six state insurance commissioners, and many more
  
• Sessions on (1) state, federal, and international regulation; (2) today's health insurance market; (3) environmental, social, and governance issues and their impact on the insurance sector; (4) the future of LTC; (5) major insurance litigation trends; and (6) CLE credit for ethics

NOLHGA’s 2021 Legal Seminar will be held online on July 21–23 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time each day. Registration is only $495, and you can register through the Seminar website, which also features a meeting agenda, speaker bios, and other meeting information.

Mark Your Calendar for NOLHGA’s 2021 Annual Meeting

NOLHGA’s 2021 Annual Meeting will be held in person at the JW Marriott Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 26–27, with an MPC meeting scheduled for October 25. Registration for the meeting should go live shortly after next week’s Legal Seminar, and (as previously noted) the registration form will ask attendees to affirm that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Those who do not expect to be vaccinated, but who wish to participate in key parts of the Annual Meeting, will be asked to notify us. Once we have a clear idea of how many attendees plan to attend in person, and whether some wish to participate remotely, we will share further information about remote participation options.
