Adolf Retires, Jensen Elected New NOLHGA Vice Chair
NOLHGA Treasurer Melody R. J. Jensen (Midland National Life Insurance Company) has been elected by the NOLHGA Board of Directors to serve as Vice Chair of the Board for the balance of Maureen Adolf’s term for that position. Adolf retired from her position as an officer with a member company (Prudential Insurance Company of America) on June 30, 2013, and thus was no longer able to serve on the Board.

Beth Hoffman has been appointed Executive Director of the Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Corporation of Maryland, replacing Jack Boritas, who stepped down on July 1, 2013. Boritas will assume a new role as Senior Advisor for the Corporation. This realignment of duties is intended to provide for an orderly succession when Boritas retires from active service with the Corporation.
