Back by Popular Demand--Baur to Speak at Annual Meeting

Bob Baur, who provided one of the highlights of the 2008 Annual Meeting with his "Dead Man Stalking" videoconference presentation, has agreed to speak (in person) at NOLHGA's 2009 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. He is scheduled to speak on the morning of October 14.

Baur is a Managing Director and Chief Economist for Principal Global Investors. In this capacity, he establishes and directs global economic policy and strategy, oversees and conducts macroeconomic and quantitative research, forecasts economic trends and anticipates market movements, and advises the investment staff in making economically sound investment decisions. He also serves as Chair of the firm's Economic Resource Group. He joined The Principal in 1995, and prior to assuming his current role, he oversaw equity, fixed income, and currency trading.

NOLHGA's 26th Annual Meeting will be held at the Fairmont Washington, D.C., on October 13 and 14 (an MPC meeting will be held on October 12).
