Expense Reporting for Final Proof of Claim to Start

The task force is in the process of preparing a final update to the guaranty associations' Omnibus Proof of Claim. The final update will reflect guaranty association claims and expenses incurred through December 31, 2007. Accordingly, affected associations will soon receive a request for submission of updated expense information for inception through year-end 2007 using NOLHGA's online Proof of Claims Survey. Technology Seminar Scheduled for January 29

The Administrators' Education Steering Committee is sponsoring a technology seminar at the January 2008 MPC meeting in Phoenix next week. The seminar, which will be held January 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Pavilion 1 and 2 rooms, will focus on Microsoft Word 2003 and Microsoft Excel 2003.

The segment on Microsoft Word will address topics such as understanding "Track Changes," working with Word charts, creating Word tables, and using the "Sort" functions. The Excel segment will cover sorting and subtotaling; how to modify your "Print" options; using formulas and the Formula bar; inserting rows and columns; freezing screens, split screens, and hiding columns; using Copy and Paste (numbers and formulas); and basic charts and graphing.
