Revised MPC Meeting Schedule Now Available

A revised schedule for the upcoming MPC meeting, which will be held February 20-22, 2006, in Phoenix, Ariz., has been posted on the meeting Web page. Under the new schedule, which can be found in the "Meeting Resources" section, the MPC General Session will begin on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 21, and will conclude on February 22.

The meeting Web page also offers online registration, hotel information, and other meeting details. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is January 30, 2006. We encourage you to make your reservations and register for the meeting as soon as possible.

Great American Transaction Closes

As a follow-up to the December 19, 2005, memo from Charlie Richardson (Task Force Project Manager), the Great American transaction affecting Old Standard Life Insurance Company and Old West Annuity & Life Insurance Company closed on January 13, 2006. The task force will report further at the February MPC meeting.
