Annual Dues Billing Mails Next Week

Invoices for the 2002 NOLHGA Annual Dues will be sent to guaranty associations the week of Jan. 20. The final calculations were based on responses received by Jan. 18 from guaranty associations regarding changes to premium volume or licensed member companies. Please direct your payments to the NOLHGA lockbox. Prompt payment will be greatly appreciated.

January MPC Briefing Materials Now Available

The complete briefing materials for the next MPC Meeting, which will be held Jan. 29–31, 2002, at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort in Savannah, Ga., have been posted on the meeting Web site.

The briefing book, which includes the revised meeting and agenda schedules posted on the site last week as well as the attendee list and status reports for the upcoming meeting, is in PDF format. The document is 54 pages long, and users will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the materials. Acrobat Reader is available free from Adobe; a link to the Adobe site can be found in the “Site Help” section on the NOLHGA Web site homepage, or users can go directly to the Adobe site using this link.

Bill Dixon of the Rhode Island Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association can now be reached via e-mail at [email protected]. The rest of the association’s contact information remains the same.

A complete list of the e-mail addresses and phone numbers of all guaranty association principal contacts is available in the “Directory” section of the NOLHGA Web site’s password-protected extranet (due to the size of the directory, the page may take a few seconds to load). This section also contains e-mail addresses for the entire NOLHGA staff, and members are encouraged to use the directories to facilitate communications with other guaranty associations and with NOLHGA.
