2015 Legal Seminar Planning Begins
Planning has begun for the 23rd Annual NOLHGA Legal Seminar, which will take place on July 23–24, 2015, at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco. The seminar will be held in conjunction with an MPC meeting on July 21–22.
The Legal Seminar Planning Committee held its kickoff teleconference on February 9 to begin developing an agenda for the seminar. Ideas for program content are welcome. This year’s Planning Committee is made up of Chair Tom Sullivan (Iowa) and Jack Falkenbach (Delaware), Joel Glover (Lewis Roca Rothgerber), Charles Gullickson (South Dakota), Catherine Masters (Schiff Hardin), Tad Rhodes (Oklahoma), and Charles Richardson (Faegre Baker Daniels).

Staff Contact -Huff Elected NAIC President-Elect
John M. Huff, Director of the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration, was elected President-Elect of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in early February. The position was vacated when former Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael Consedine stepped down from the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.
