Document Search and Bulletin Features Added to NOLHGA Web Site

The NOLHGA Web site now offers users the ability to search for documents on the extranet and also features a bulletin section to update users on newly added content and other news.

The document search feature appears in the Publications section and can also be found in the Member Resources menu (users must log in to access this feature). Users simply enter their search term(s) and click the Go button. Within seconds, the site generates a list of matching documents ordered by relevance. Each document name serves as a link to that document, and the location of the document (where it appears on the Web site) is also listed. The search function also offers directions on common search tips as well as an explanation of how the search works.

The NOLHGA bulletin informs users of important NOLHGA-related events and changes to the Web site. New bulletins will appear atop the extranet (after users log in); users can subscribe and unsubscribe to receive these bulletins by e-mail as well.

If you have any trouble using the document search or bulletin, please contact Dan Hicks at [email protected] or 703.787.4112.
