1998 Assessable Premium Data
Assessment Data Survey packages were mailed today to guaranty associations and insurance commissioners. The survey package includes assessable premiums for member companies and is a compilation of the joint efforts of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and NOLHGA. The package also contains an overview of the premium collection process, a copy of 1998 survey forms and instructions, state-specific reports and premium diskettes, a summary of tests performed by the NAIC and NOLHGA on company submissions, as well as an overview of companies reviewed and exception listings. Task Force Chair - Doug Furlong; Staff Contact - Paul Peterson National Heritage Life (DE)Trust To Be Extended
National Heritage Life Trustees have notified the Liquidation Court that the trust will be extended for an additional year. The trust was originally established for a three-year period, with an option for extending the trust for additional one-year periods, for a maximum of two years. Assets remaining in the trust consist of residential and commercial mortgages.

New Idaho Association Executive Director
After a long tenure at the Idaho Association, Betty Olsson is retiring. Candie Kinch will assume the position of executive director. Contact information for the association remains the same.
