The Honorable Kathleen Pantle (Ret.)
Kathleen Pantle served as a judge of the Cook County 6th Subcircuit in Illinois. She was first elected to this position in 1998, and she retired from the bench in 2018. In her judicial career, Judge Pantle held assignments in the Chancery Division (2007–2018), Criminal Division (2003–2007), Juvenile Justice Division (2000–2003), and First Municipal District (1998–2000).
Prior to her judicial election in 1998, Judge Pantle worked for 14 years as an assistant public defender. She has also worked as an adjunct professor of law at DePaul University. She received the Distinguished Service Award from the Anixter Center in 2003 and the St. Vincent de Paul Award for Community Service in 2002.
Judge Pantle received a B.S. from Loyola University Chicago in 1979 and earned her J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1982.
