Ariel Bayewitz

Over his 20 years with Elevance Health, Ariel Bayewitz has held leadership roles spanning network strategy, payment innovation, provider economics, and enterprise analytics. He chaired the company’s Price Transparency strategy, architected Elevance Health’s national Value-Based Care (VBC) payment model, built the platform that administers its VBC contracts, and developed an enterprise provider-profiling solution. He also holds two U.S. patents in high-value physician referral and network design.

Bayewitz currently leads Elevance Health’s enterprise efforts addressing rising costs tied to the No Surprises Act (NSA) and the federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process. He writes and speaks frequently on IDR trends, healthcare affordability, provider reimbursement, and NSA implementation.

Bayewitz holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University. He has been with Elevance Health since 2005.
