Company Overview

SeeChange Health Insurance Company (SHIC) was a California domestic insurer who primarily wrote group health and dental policies (both ACA and non-ACA policies). The company was placed under a Conservation Order on November 19, 2014 and a final Order of Liquidation on January 28, 2015. SeeChange was licensed in 25 states.

On September 15, 2014, SeeChange mailed a Notice of Cancellation to all policyholders informing them that all polices will terminate on December 31, 2014. Policyholders will have 12 months from their termination date to file their claims.
