Save the Date—MPC Meeting Set for January 27–29

NOLHGA’s next MPC meeting will be held on the afternoons of January 27–29, 2021. The meeting will be held online using Zoom videoconferencing software, and we will again be using the Zoom webinar platform.

At this point, we are not certain if the meeting will require all three days, but we are asking members to set aside the afternoons on those days. A preliminary schedule for the meeting should be available in mid-December. Once the schedule is available, we will send out a registration link to prospective attendees. A website for the January 2021 MPC meeting will go live in the next week or so.

Business Continuity & Succession Planning Webinar Scheduled for December 9

A number of NOLHGA committees have collaborated on an online webinar addressing guaranty association business continuity plans and succession planning. The webinar, which is designed for guaranty association administrators, Board members, and staff, will be held using Zoom videoconferencing software on December 9, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Administrators from a variety of guaranty associations—large and small, stand-alone operations and associations embedded in law firms, life and health associations and those that also handle property and casualty funds—will offer their perspectives and insights on the key issues guaranty associations face in dealing with these hot topics. The program will include pop-up panelists, online polls, real-time Q&A, and comments from the audience.
