Funding for First True-up Due Soon

Guaranty association funding for the first true-up of the assumption reinsurance agreement with Philadelphia American Life Insurance Company is due March 31, 2003 (if by check), or April 1, 2003 (if by wire). A memorandum including funding amounts and payment instructions was sent to affected guaranty associations on March 7.
