Updated guaranty association proof of claim information is due March 21, 2003. The information should be submitted via the NOLHGA Web site's proof of claim system. The claims and expense information reported should be from inception to date as of December 31, 2002. The next MPC meeting will be held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 19-21, 2003. The meeting Web page should be available in the next few weeks, and a preliminary schedule of events will be distributed the week of April 13. At this point, it is expected that the Accounting Issues Committee meeting and perhaps an educational workshop will be held the afternoon of May 19, with committee, task force, and "in the round" meetings taking place on May 20; the MPC general session will be held the morning of May 21.
Hotel reservations for the meeting can be made by calling the Grand America Hotel at 800.621.4505. The NOLHGA room rates for the meeting are $189 a night for a single and $199 for a double (be sure to mention NOLHGA when making your reservation); the cut-off date for reservations is April 25.
