The deadline for hotel reservations and meeting registration for the May MPC meeting in Indianapolis, Ind., is today, April 28. If you have not registered or made reservations for the meeting, which will be held May 22-24, 2006, we encourage you to do so today. Hotel information and online registration are available on the meeting Web page. The page also offers a revised schedule of events in the "Meeting Resources" section.

Final Distribution Received

NOLHGA recently received the final estate distribution for Summit National on behalf of the affected guaranty associations. The total received was approximately $37 million, and NOLHGA expects to distribute the funds within the next few weeks. With this distribution, the Summit National insolvency can be officially considered closed for guaranty association purposes.
